Hyderabad: Scheduled commercial bank, AU Small Finance Bank announced the launch of its round-the-clock customer service through video banking. The virtual platform is secured with advanced encryption, AI-powered facial recognition, OTP and signature verification, and video validation. Services such as real-time account support, demographic updates, financial transactions, loans and Credit Card inquiries, issue resolution and others will be provided.
Uttam Tibrewal, Executive Director, AU Small Finance Bank said, “AU Small Finance Bank’s foray into round-the-clock video banking represents a paradigm shift in modern banking. Even on holidays and weekends, AU’s dedicated team would ensure face-to-face, human-centric interactions, underscoring the bank’s commitment to enhancing nationwide banking experiences.”
Tibrewal further informed that the most sought-after services through Video Banking include starting new savings account, current account and credit card relationship; getting all service-related resolutions; financial transactions; and end-to-end relationship management.
AU started its banking operations in April 2017 and as on June 30, 2023 it has established operations across 1,038 banking touchpoints while serving over 41.3 lakh customers in 21 States and three Union Territories with an employee base of 28,446 employees. The Bank has a net worth of Rs 11,379 crore, deposit base of Rs 69,315 crore, gross advance of Rs 63,635 crore and a balance sheet of Rs 91,583 crore.
